Goal: Improve performance of a Gildan factory by strengthening the occupational health and safety management system, identifying specific opportunities for improvement.
Continuous improvement is vital to firm competitiveness, and in apparel factory settings, occupational health and safety (OHS) is one of the key drivers of performance. However, identifying which aspects within OHS most affect a company’s performance can be a challenge. BSR and partner FUNDAHRSE are working with a Gildan factory to analyze its health and safety performance drivers and add value to its OHS management system for the benefit of both its employees and the factory itself.
