Laura Elvir

Laura has more than five years experience serving as an occupational health and safety and industrial hygiene coordinator in the textile manufacturing industry. She holds an Industrial Engineering Degree from Universidad Católica de Honduras and a Total Quality Management Masters Degree from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. Laura is a Certified Auditor of the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model. A native Spanish speaker, Laura also speaks English.

Laura is currently consulting on the demonstration projects Strengthening Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems at a Gildan Factory
and Worker Empowerment at Banana Company Finca Tropical S.A..
