Dr. Feinberg is a senior advisor to the project. He is a CSR expert with extensive professional experience advising multinational firms on labor standards in developing countries and has taught related courses to business executives at universities in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. His knowledge of labor practices and public policy are indispensable for the public policy demonstration projects in Costa Rica and El Salvador. Dr. Feinberg has a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a Doctorate in Economics from Stanford University. He is a professor of Political Economy at the Graduate School of International Relations at the University of California, San Diego. He has held positions in the National Security Council, Inter-American Dialogue, Overseas Development Council, the U.S. State Department’s Policy Planning Staff, and the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of International Affairs.
Dr. Feinberg is currently consulting on the demonstration projects Responsible Labor Public Policy Framework with the Costa Rican Government and Responsible Labor Public Policy Framework with the Salvadoran Government.
